Question:
I have an older Lance cabover with a Magnetek 6325 converter that I want to upgrade to have battery management and also charge a Lithium battery. I am also installing solar so Ned some way of isolating the controller so it does not try to change the batteries when the inverter is running. Can you recommend options please. Thanks Ron

Hello Ron, thanks for reaching out. We do offer a suitable replacement for your Magnetek 6325 converter. For that I recommend the following:
- Progressive Dynamics 4000 Series Mini RV Converter w/ Charge Wizard and AC/DC Distribution Panel # PD4045KA
I am not sure what solar kit you are adding but typically they would come with a controller that has a switch you'll press when plugged into shore power. In this case there would be nothing additional you would need to add for that.

Thanks Jesse but I didn't explain well enough. I want to connect the inverter to the 110V system so that we can use the same sockets as when we are on shore power. The problem I see is that the charger will also be on that circuit so will try to charge the battery, which the inverter is using to supply the 110v. I think it is called something like the "death loop". I need some way of turning the charger off or disconnecting it when we are on solar.
