Solution for Broken Thermostat of Atwood RV Furnace 2334DCLP

Question:

I have a Atwood 2334DCLP furnace and would like to know if it s possible to convert to single stage as the thermostae is defectice and no longer avaliable. If not could you recomend a replacment furnace. I have installed a new AC unit with its own thermostste so i only need a heat only T stat and single stage

Hey Gary, if I were I would want to keep the furnace you have now and try and find a thermostat replacement for it. I don't have any resources on what you have and what it would take to convert to a single stage furnace or if that is even possible so what I would recommend is find an HVAC guy in your area and see if they can either come up with a thermostat solution for it so that you can use it to it's full functionality or find a way to to convert it to a single stage.

We do have a similar BTU furnace with the Dometic part # DMC74MR which is rated for 35,000 btu.

hello Jameson The thermostat for this model is no longer available and is the only one that will work on my Furnace. there are thermostats available for single stage units but not mine.

@Gary Yeah that makes sense. I was hoping if you found an HVAC guy he could come up with a thermostat that would work somehow since that's beyond what we can really help with.
