I am considering switching to an Auto slider Reese 5th wheel. Will a Reese slider fit my existing Reese 16 K 5th wheel bed mounts?

Hey Michael. As far as I know the only Auto-Slider Reese makes is exclusively for the Ford factory puck system so it's not going to work on industry standard 5th wheel rails like your Reese 16k mounted to.

For an auto-sliding 5th wheel hitch that does mount to industry standard rails, I recommend the 18,000 lbs Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider item # DM8550034 or the 21,000 lbs capacity item # DM8550035. These 5th wheel hitches will give you 14" of travel from front to back and have hitch height settings of 16-1/2", 17-3/4", and 19-1/4".
