Question:
When installing wall vents or roof vents to the metal skin of the trailer is it better to use pop rivets or sheet metal screws?

Hey Chris. It's better to use screws when installing vents like the 2-Piece Exterior Wall Vent for Enclosed Trailers item # HMAV2-AVT2 you were looking at. They're easier to install and remove. They're also better for expansion and contraction from temperature changes.
We have the Camco RV Vent Installation Kit item # CAM25003, which is designed for metal skinned trailers.
What kind of trailer do you have?
