Question:
Hello Experts! Im looking for an RV door latch for my cargo trailer. It currently has the cam bar lock on it. I think I would like to remove the cam bar entirely and leave just the RV latch, and Im trying to find a latch that would be large enough to cover the holes of the cam bar. The holes are about 6 inches away from the side frame of the door where the bolt and latch would protrude. Most spec of these latches talk about hole size, understandably. Would it be possible to give me some direction in larger size locks that would work on an enclosed trailer? Some of the Bauer models looks promising but I am open to any model. I would prefer a metal latch with dual locks but I expect I will be securing this door from the inside when not in use so neither of those are must haves. Thanks for your input!
