Is There Swing Away Adapter that Can be Used with Thule Epos Bike Rack

Can this rack be used with any of the swing away mounts and what would I need to fit this to a 2.5inch Reese hitch and retain the antiwobble feature. Also will this lower to clear the tailgate of a 2025 GMC 2500 with the bikes mounted?

Hey Ryan, the Thule Epos 3 bike rack part # TH69XE that you referenced can be used with swing away hitch adapters like the Swagman # S86SR. You would need to use a sleeve adapter like the part # BPH75YR since your truck has a 2.5 inch hitch currently. The anti-rattle device will secure the bike rack to the swing away adapter and get rid of any movement there but where the hitch attaches to the swing away adapter there won't be anything there. With as much as the rack and pivot would weigh I don't believe you would see it or feel it move much at all.
With all of this installed though there would be enough clearance to allow the tailgate of your truck to fold down.
