Hey Chuck. The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch item # 306-X7277 has a maximum tongue weight of 200 lbs. This hitch is custom fit for a 2019 BMW i3 and is the only option we have available for that vehicle. This hitch has a 2" receiver which will give you the best options for accessories like bike racks and cargo carriers.

Towing a 20 foot 1,700 lb empty box trailer. An EV has plenty of pulling power as I towed my 3,500 lb camper-van 10 miles for a repair.
