Question:
i have a dexter 4400lbs 4 bolt elect 10 x 2.25 the part number is K23-463-00. You guys did a video for those @ https://www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/Dexter/K23-463-00.html in the video, he measured between the posts which is how i figured out my part number. They are totally wonky numbers . . . 2 7/8, 3 1/4inch . . . really dexter? And they want $$$ for the right side . . . .really dexter? I would like to replace with Lippert purely on principle at this point in my journey. Would/could you measure the posts on these or if you are able to cross reference, what would be the Lippert number?

Hi Trip; it looks like you ended up replacing the pair with # K23-478-479 which was the right choice. Unfortunately, brands don't cross over with these 4,400 lb axles so Lippert isn't an option. The price is comparable for the pair of Lippert brakes as well.

appreciate the response. Yes i figured this also had to do with the relatively unique 4400lbs axle. So i pulled the trigger on the 478/479. I went to update my question that i ordered them, but couldn't see how. And again, as usual, etrailer support and pricing wins the day. Appreciate you guys and gals!
