Hi Sean; according to Convert-A-Ball, their # CAB-C5G adapter should not be used with an air ride pin box like the Reese 5th Airborne. If you want a gooseneck adapter I recommend switching to the Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter # RP85FR instead. This will replace your existing pin box, has the air ride, and fits most bolt patterns. It is designed to replace Lippert 1621, 1716, 0719, Rhino, and Fabex PB 600 series pin boxes.

What kind of 5th wheel do you have?

Hey Sean, did you end up switching to the Reese Goose Box for your setup? Knowing how it worked with your 5th wheel could help others looking to make the same change. Your feedback would be great for anyone comparing these adapters.
