Can I use this polisher on my RV fiberglass gelcoat, or is it just for automotive paint? Blake, you can absolutely use the PT37VR on fiberglass gelcoat. In fact, it’s a great way to bring life back to a dull RV exterior. Start with a mild compound like Griot’s Complete Compound 349B110P and the terry cloth bonnet to take out oxidation, then move to the wool bonnet with a finishing polish like 34911013. Just go slow and keep the polisher moving - gelcoat is forgiving, but you don’t want to focus in one spot too long. What year is your RV? That’ll help us tailor product suggestions.
