Ellen: Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here etrailer.com and we're taking a quick look at the performance tool's orbital buffer and polisher. This is going to help you to clean, buff and polish your vehicle without damaging the paint and finish by having that random pattern, we don't have to worry about wearing in one spot. It's going to move it around so it's going to keep the things moving and we don't have to worry about our finished being damaged. Pretty easy to use. It has the two handles that makes it easy to hold and move along the surface of your vehicle without getting too strained by having to just hold it with one hand.
It also comes with two bonnets. So it really gives you a nice kit all in one. I like that this is a really nice big backing plate. So especially if you're going to be using this for an RV or a bigger vehicle, it helps you to get that job done quickly. So let's take a closer look and I'll also plug this in so you can see what it looks like when it's turned on. It does have a pretty short cord, but most likely you're going to have to have an extension cord anyway.
So I've got my power source here. I'm just going to set off to the side and plug this in so you can see it in action. Now, again, it does come with those two bonnets. So we get a terry cloth, it's kind of hard to see since it's all white on white and then also a synthetic wool, which is kind of more of a long pile material. I'll bring these closer to the camera so maybe you can get a little bit better picture of that material. So this is our synthetic wool and it's going to be a much more kind of fluffy material.
You can see that there. And then the terry cloth is kind of that more shallow, more of a buffing kind of polishing or buffing and the wool would be more polishing. So just to give you an idea of the two different bonnets that it comes with. Now, as far as turning it on, it just got a little switch here. It is just the one speed. So turn it on and it moves just really nicely.
So you just want to maintain a little bit of pressure that it doesn't fuck around. It makes it pretty easy to get that job done quickly. And of course already on here is the foam backing plate. This has a 120-volt, 60 Hertz motor, and works at 0.92 amps, 3,000 RPMs, and it has a no-load speed with that six and a half inch 2-pronged cord. So you can use this on just about anything you want, whether that's an RV, a larger truck, boat, or anything else that you might want to use. That's pretty much it for our quick look at the Orbital Buffer. I hope that this has been helpful in setting if this is the right choice for you. We do have some other accessories here at etrailer.com for cleaning buffing, polishing any of your vehicles. So definitely check those out and thanks for watching.
