Does Watchdog Surge Protector With Voltage Booster 50A Cut Power When Error Is Detected?

Question:
I’ve got the HU74ZR plugged into a 50A pedestal. If the park loses neutral, will it cut power to protect my coach?

Expert Reply:
Yes Thomas, it will. The # HU74ZR watches for open neutral, open ground, and reverse polarity, along with high/low voltage. If the pedestal wiring fails, it will immediately shut down power and throw a red Bulldog face with the error code. That saves you from frying circuit boards or appliances.
Do you usually camp at older parks where wiring can be sketchy?
