Looking For Fishing Rod Holder To Carry On Top Of Rooftop Tent With Crossbars

Question:
Looking for a quality snowboard roof rack for transporting my fishing rods. I have a hardtop rooftop tent that has crossbars on it that are flush to the top of the tent. Do you have anything that will securely clamp to them? I can send a picture, if that helps. Thanks

Hello Rick, thanks for reaching out. Go ahead and email those pictures over to me. My email is [email protected].
Also any other info you have on this roof rack will be helpful. If you can tell me the dimensions of the crossbars, or the spacing between them, that will really help narrow down what rod carriers will work.
For example, the Rhino-Rack Ski and Fishing Rod Carrier # RR572 you were looking at will fit virtually any crossbar up to 3-1/2" wide and 1-1/2" tall. The crossbar spacing would be more dependent on the length of your rods.
Send that over when you get a chance and I am happy to look into it.

Hey Rick, were you able to send over those pictures and crossbar measurements for your rooftop tent? Once you had that info, did the Rhino-Rack carrier end up fitting the way you needed? Your update could make it easier for others with similar setups.
