Will Universal Or Custom Fit Lock Be Better For Hit N Hitch Coupler On Sundowner Horse Trailer?

I just bought a new Sundowner horse trailer with a Hit-N-Hitch coupler. Will the ICON AL43DQ fit, or should I use a universal? I have some giant ponies named ralph and Michelangelo

Megan, go with the # AL43DQ. Universals are loose on Hit-N-Hitch, leaving gaps for pry bars, and sometimes they don't work at all. ICON molds this one specifically for that coupler’s auto-latch profile, so I'd definitely spend the extra coin on a good one, especially since you need your trailer safe and sound for your beloved horsies / giant ponies.

You’ll also get the weather-sealed disc-detainer key system, which stays smooth even with barn dust. Do you park at showgrounds often, or mainly at home?
