Question:
Why cant you use the Pintle attachment with a medium duty hitch? Will it just not fit the channel or is it a weight rating issue? I figure even with a medium duty hitch rated for 14K, the pintle attachment should still be good up to that.

Hey Brent. The Pintle Lock for BulletProof Hitches Adjustable Ball Mount item # 358Pintleattachment isn't rated to be used with the lower duty ball mounts like item # MD204. It'll fit inside the channel and pin hole but capacity size the smallest ball mount it will work with is one like the 22,000 lbs item # HD204.
Instead you'll want to use the 2-Tang Clevis for BulletProof Hitches Adjustable Ball Mount - 1" Diameter Pin - 20,000 lbs item # 358CLEVIS, which is compatible with and rated for use with medium duty ball mounts.
