Question:
Looking for detailed information on the blue ox sway pro hitch with 2-1/2 hitch shank. The weight capacity far exceeds the weight requirement for my 2025 Air Stream international 25. The loaded tongue weight capacity is 1000 lbs and I believe this hitch is for heavier applications. I do not want to have “too much” my tow vehicle is a ford Super Duty . Is there a possibility of custom tailing this hitch to my requirements? Thanks Pete

Hey Peter, I would go a different since all of the systems that come with the 2.5 inch hitch shanks are going to be rated too high for what you have which will give you a harsher ride quality.
So instead I would go with a Equal-i-zer part # EQ90-00-1201 which is correct rating but does not come with a shank so that you can get one separately that is correct for your setup like the Curt # C17131.
