Question:
I am going to replace the axles and suspension on my gooseneck tandem axle trailer, but I am having trouble finding the right parts. I would like 8000 axles with hydraulic disc brakes and complete leaf spring suspension for 16 wheels. I would prefer discs that are not integral to the hub. Can you point me in the right direction?

Hey Richard, thanks for reaching out!
You'll need to visit a local trailer shop to custom order an 8K axle to match your hub face and spring center dimensions (see attached photo), but I can definitely get you setup with some hubs, disc brakes, and wheels/tires!
For your setup we'll want to use the Dexter Disc Brake Kit # K71-635-90 (1 kit per axle) and then pairing it with the Provider ST235/85R16 Trailer Tire with Silver Vesper Mod Wheel # TA26FR.
Just make sure your axle works with 25580 inner and 02475 outer bearings, and that the grease seal spot on the spindle works with a 2.25" ID seal and you'll be good to go!
Are you trying to upgrade your gooseneck trailer suspension? Or did everything just wear out at the same time?

I want to upgrade from drum brakes to disc brakes, suspension is worn out and axles are bent the wrong way.
