Can I Leave Patriot Adjustable Hitch # PH94FR On Truck All Winter Without Rusting?

Question:
Can I leave this Patriot hitch on my truck all winter, or will the finish hold up to salt?

Melissa, the Patriot hitches like # PH94FR adjustable version use a durable powder coat that holds up well, but like all steel hitches, salt and road grime will eventually wear at it over the years. A quick rinse when you can do so will go along way to keep it clean. But that powder coat is pretty durable compared to some lower end ball mounts, so you'll have it looking nice for quite a few years; it also has a limited lifetime warranty.
Would you like me to point you toward a lock set too, so you can leave it in without worrying?
