Does the Patriot PH94FR stick out far enough so I can drop the tailgate on my 2024 GMC Sierra without hitting?

Luke, the # PH94FR usually gives plenty of clearance for tailgates and jacks. That said, you may not be able to have it in the highest position as that could hit the tailgate. I've attached a demo video that shows a tailgate being dropped and it doesn't hit the ball mount when in the dropped position, then I threw in a photo showing it in the rise position without hitting the tailgate. So I'd confidently say you'll be fine in most positions.
