Where to Install Curt Stabilizer Straps for Curt Bike Rack on 2016 Subaru Crosstrek

Hitch C11286 Question that came in video and in instructions. Both say to use Stabilizing Straps. for non-trailer loads. Im using the 18085 bike rack primarily. Not sure where to install straps. FROM WHERE and TO WHERE do you install the straps. Between hitch and outer edges of bike rack or cargo carrier? Thank you

Hi John; the Curt Cam Buckle Stabilizing Strap for Hitch-Mounted Accessories # 18050 can attach to the main mast on your Curt 2 Bike Platform Rack # C18085. Then you will run the strap over your rear hatch and hook it at the top edge. See the attached pictures.
