Hi Mike!
The 14 Gauge Primary Wire - Brown - per Foot # DW02413-1 can definitely be used on a boat trailer. However, I would definitely use something like the Deka Heat Shrink Butt Connector - 16-14 Gauge - Nylon Insulation - Blue - Qty 10 # DW05744-10 to make the connections. Heat Shrink connectors will help keep the water out, so no shorts. Those are bad.

Hi Mike, did you get a chance to try the wire and connectors on your boat trailer? I'm curious to know how it worked out for you, as it could help others looking to set up their trailers.
