Removing Old Conspicuity/DOT Tape on Trailer

How can I easily remove old DOT tape to replace? Tried everything short of dremmeling it off...

Removing old conspicuity tape can be difficult. To remove the top layer of the tape you will want to use a heat source such as a heat gun or blow dryer to warm it up and then use a scraper to scrape the top of it off.
Once the tape has been remove there will most likely be a bit of adhesive that needs to get removed. There are products specifically designed for this that will make this much easier than try to rub or scrape it off. Products similar to "Adhesive-Off" or "Goof-Off" would be what I would recommend although we don't carry them.
For new tape the # RE21T would be a great choice, it is a 21 foot long tape.
