How to Install Prodigy P3 Brake Controller 2024 Ford Maverick Hybrid

Question:
I have a 2024 Ford Maverick Hybrid. It has a four wire trailer connector. I want to convert that so it has both 7 and 4 wire and to also install an Tekonsha P3 elect. brake controller with the minimal splicing. What harness parts do I need to make this as easy as possible?

Hey Lee, so we can definitely help but since your 2024 Ford Maverick has a factory 4-way without brake controller pre-wiring the kit you need to install your brake controller and convert from a 4-way to a 7-way would be the part # ETBC7.
This comes with everything you'll need but it does require some splicing. Do you have the P3 # 90195 already?
