Question:
Which Velit AC is best for boondocking with limited solar? I have a smaller Keystone travel trailer I'm pulling behind my f150.

Rob, the Mini 6.5k 12V # VE69QV and the 2000R 12V # VE87QV are most forgiving for smaller solar arrays. Their Eco modes sip 250–300 watts, which is realistic for a modest solar panel kit and a small battery bank. The 48V units are more efficient per BTU but do require higher-voltage banks and amperage, so it depends on your electrical setup.
What’s your current solar wattage? If you don't have one yet, I can recommend one for you.
Anyone running theirs strictly off solar to charge the batteries? How’s it holding up?
