Can Tie Down Brackets Be Used With Kodiak 225 Calipers?

Can I use the same caliper mounting bracket which is currently on my boat trailer and used for Tie Down 46304 caliper with the Kodiac 225 caliper?

Hello Perry, thanks for reaching out. You cannot use a Tie Down bracket with a Kodiak 225 Caliper. The calipers and brackets are brand specific and you cannot mix and match. Sometimes the differences of the brackets are very slight, but even that is enough to throw things off and cause the brakes to not work correctly. So for the Kodiak 225 calipers you will need to use the following bracket:
- Replacement Mounting Bracket for Kodiak Disc Brake Caliper - Dacromet - 3,500 lbs # KCMB10RD
