Question:
I own a Kuat Sherpa and Im thinking about purchasing the Hi-Lo Pro hitch extender KU37FR. I have a couple questions. 1. How much does the Hi-Lo Pro weigh? 2. Installing the Hi-Lo Pro to my car and then installing the Sherpa to the Hi-Lo Pro would take a couple minutes more than just installing the Sherpa, and similarly for uninstalling. Could I simply leave the Sherpa connected to the Hi-Lo Pro and treat them as if theyre a single unit? This would eliminate the extra step in installing and uninstalling from my car. Is there any disadvantage to doing this, other than making the Sherpa heavier?

Hey Ron. The Kuat Hi-Lo Pro Hitch Extender item # KU37FR weighs 10 lbs. So long as you are coordinated and strong enough to manage the Kuat Sherpa like item # SH22B and the Hi-Lo Pro item # KU37FR connected there wouldn't be any issue leaving these two pieces together. Besides the additional weight, it's going to make the shank a few inches longer.
What kind of vehicle do you have?
