Question:

I have a 10’ Covered Wagon enclosed cargo trailer and I need keys for the side access door. My dealer is telling me I can order the online from you. What information do I need to provide and where would that information be located on my trailer? Thanks.

To know exactly what key will fit your enclosed trailer's access door lock we'll need to know the brand and the key code. For example, since you were looking at a Bauer door lock, if your key code was 357 then you could use the Replacement Key for Bauer RV Lock - 357 # BA85ZR. The key code is typically on the inside of the lock either on a sticker or printed on the lock. You may need to remove the interior handle portion to get to the actual lock to check if there isn't an indication on the handle portion.

@DavidS We would need to know the brand and key code to find a replacement key. If you can't find that then you can remove the backing plate for the entry latch and measure the cutout hole and we can get you a new latch.

@Tara What brand lock do you have on your door? If you have a Bauer Products Door Lock for Horse and Utility Trailers item # BA63FR, like the question above, I do not have a 001 replacement key.

@Willis What you are looking for is the Key for Global Link RV Locks - 363 - Qty 1 # 295-000142. I know this doesn't list the G, but we have had people order this before and it worked perfectly. Just keep in mind this is one key, so if you need more than one, you will need to up the quantity you order. What do you carry in the trailer? Is it a work type thing or something else?

@La I am moving I have my personal stuff in the trailer I'm moving out of state and I lost my key when I was loading it up and I hooked it up to move it to cut the grass and I left the keys on the back bumper and when I unhooked it and went to the store I'm doubtful they fell off somewhere I tried to find them but I could notzerS

@Willis Oh cool! Where you moving to? I moved from Southern California to Missouri a little over 10 years ago and it was quite the change! And that happening a lot. I always put keys that I don't have on my normal car key ring on a lanyard or something kind of flashy. Makes it easy to keep track of and if they are dropped, they are easier to find. Granted, if they fall of somewhere on the road, that does make it kind of a moot point. Which I have also done before, so you are not alone! Let me know if there is anything else I can help with!

I have a covered wagon trailer and the code on the back of the latch is CW409. I need a replacement key for it.

@Jay Hi! I’m sorry, but we don’t carry the exact replacement key for the CW409 latch code. The CW409 code is used with Fastec Industrial RV and trailer locks, so you’ll need to order a replacement key cut to the CW409 code from a supplier that carries Fastec keys.
