Question:
I have a 2010 Palomino Pony and need the magnets for right and left , how can I tell which one I need ? I did measure the hub and inside diameter 7” is and outside edge to edge is 8”. Also are all electric brakes with same hub sizes interchangeable ? Thanks

Hello Lynn, thanks for reaching out. It sounds like your camper has the 7" diameter x 1-1/4" wide brake assemblies. This would be freferring to the dimensions of the brake shoes, not the backing plate itself. If so, we do carry a replacement magnet for this. Take a look at the following:
- Replacement Magnet Kit for 7" Electric Trailer Brake Assemblies - 2,000 lbs # AKBRKR-M7
This will be compatible with the 7" trailer brake assemblies from most major brands like AxleTek, Dexter and Lippert.
Any idea what brand your brakes are? If you are unsure it might be a good idea to just replace the entire brake assembly. They are not terribly expensive and it can save you a bit of hassle.
The brand of brake assembly does not matter as long as the drum size matches. The 4-bolt brake flange is standard.
