Hi Kevin!
Good choice going with the Equal-i-zer weight distribution system. They are one of my favorites and have been in the business a long time, so they know what they are doing.
With your fully loaded weight being 6,800 pounds, that would mean your tongue weight would be between 680 pounds on the low end (10%) and 1,020 pounds on the high end (15%). I would be absolutely shocked if you got anywhere near 1,000 pounds of tongue weight. That said, I recommend going with the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control - 10,000 lbs GTW, 1,000 lbs TW # EQ37100ET.
This has a tongue weight range of 600 pounds to 1,000 pounds and your loaded weight puts you in that range nicely. Typically you want to be as close to the middle of a systems capacity as possible. Keep in mind you will need either the 2" ball # EQ91-00-6080 or 2-5/16" ball # EQ91-00-6100 to complete the set up.
What kind of trailer are you towing?
