Can Solera RV Slide-Out Awning Install With Regular Awning Over Slide-Out

Question:

My camper has a awning on one of the slide outs. I would like to put a slide out topper on the slide but cannot figure out how to do that with the awning hardware in place. Do you have some way to have a slide out topper and awning attached to the same slide out?

Hi David; the awning is on the face of your slide-out? There is no way to mount the two on the same brackets but as long as you have room for the slide-out topper brackets the two can be installed together. Take a look at the attached photo for an example.

The # LCV000163300 you were looking at is designed for slide-outs measuring 152" - 157" wide edge to edge. I also attached a picture below showing the bracket dimensions, and I encourage you to look at the installation instructions linked further down on the page to see if you think you can fit the two together.

Hi David, did the example photo and installation instructions help you figure out how to install the slide-out topper with your awning? I'm asking because your experience could be really helpful for others trying to do the same thing.
