Hello Greg,

What kind of repair are you making to the roof? The only thing we have listed as working for ABS is the Valterra ABS Solvent Cement - 1/4 Pint # A05-0303. I am asking on what kind of repair you are doing so I can reach out to our manufacturers to see what would be best.

If it is just a little crack the # A05-0303 would work great for bonding it together, although it is mostly used for putting the plumbing pipes together.

I look forward to hearing back from you, so I can ensure we get you the right stuff!

Small cracks are several places. I would like to coat the entire roof, about 8x10 feet. Is there a white sealant that would work? I would like a sealant that strengthens the roof.

@GregR I reached out to LaSalle and they cannot confirm that the LaSalle Bristol XTRM EXP 90 Adhesive for RV Roofs - # 344270341415, and in my research I see that there is an advisory to avoid non-porous substrates such as fiberglass suggests it might similarly have poor adhesion to ABS, which is also a non-porous plastic. So I would go with something marine like Loctite PL Marine Fast Cure - White - 10.1 oz # LOC84FR, which is paintable and sets in 30 minutes, cures in 24 hours. In my research I found that Polyurethane Bedliner works the best for coating your ABS roof.

@Greg I had to delete the link, I am showing that even if you prime the top, standard oil-based enamels like Rust-Oleum 301902 aren’t a good match since they don’t adhere well and may crack over time. Since we do not have anything that I see that will work great for an ABS roof, I am going to send you a private email with a link that I found on a process that will work fantastic!
