Do you have to remove a previous rubber typeinch roofing membrane or can this go over the top of existing roof?

Hello Pat, thanks for reaching out. You will want to remove the previous layer of roof membrane before installing a new one. The # AL52CV membrane should be adhered directly to the wood, and would not adhere correctly to another layer of membrane.
