Question:

I am looking for a gas strut for a 2021 forest river Aurora 32hbs outdoor kitchen door. GN8-306-60 YT11/20 267N is what it shows on the main strut and PA66 by the socket. I can’t find any numbers that match this for any other strut. Extended all the way it’s 31 1/2 inches. Could you help find the right struts? If it’s 32 but everything else fits I don’t mind moving the brackets. Please help find a struts that is correct.

Hi Bryan; none of our gas struts that are designed for doors like that come close in length. If you don't mind moving the brackets like you said you could potentially use the Gas Shock - 74 lb Force - 26.32" Extended, 15.82" Compressed # 372-6687. This connects to a 10mm ball socket. The # ATL82MR you were looking at is passenger vehicle specific and designed to fit the OEM connectors for that specific vehicle. If you want to find one that matches the length I recommend checking with a local RV repair shop to see if they can order one for you.

Hi Bryan, did you manage to find a gas strut that fits your outdoor kitchen door, or did you decide to move the brackets and try the one I suggested? I'm asking because your experience could really help others facing a similar challenge.
