What Info is Needed to Order Replacement Axles

Question:

I have 2022 Forest River Sandpiper 388BHRD. I wanted to know the specs for my 7K lbs axles and also if it is possible to upgrade them to 8K or 9K lbs axles.

Hey Rauan, we don't have a way to look up the specs on your axles but all of that info is on the axle tag. What you need to find is the hub face to hub face dimension which might be abbreviated as HF and spring seat center to center dimension which probably is abbreviated as SC. With that info you'd be able to order a higher capacity axle. We don't have any 8k or 9k axles though so you would need to find a trailer shop local to you who has ability to order in axles.

Here is what I found on my trailer axle. LC170 - SBSA-86.5-68.5-NOSP-OS-L-86537-7227-18PT VO0115520

@Rauan That's all the info you need but we don't have an axle that matches what you need. The important info I see in that is that you need a hub face dimension of 86-1/2 inch, spring seat center to center of 68-1/2 inch.
