Replacement Brake Actuator For 1995 ShoreLander Trailer With Drum Brakes

Question:
I’m rebuilding my 1995 ShoreLander with drum brakes. Will the DA75 work with my setup?

Absolutely, Tony. The DA75 Demco Drum Brake Actuator # DM28CV is a great match for drum brakes and is rated up to 7,500 lbs GTW. Its zinc-coated steel body handles freshwater conditions well too.
Just check that your tongue is 3inch wide and that you're using a 2inch ball coupler. That's pretty much it! You may end up needing to drill a couple new holes for the installation, but sometimes the bolt pattern remains the same, especially if it's replacing the same branded actuator/coupler.
Does it still have the original coupler from 95?

Hey Tony, did you find out if your ShoreLander still has the original coupler from '95? I'm curious because it could make the installation of the DA75 a bit smoother, and I'd love to know how it worked out for you!
