The BAK Revolver X2 # BAK39330 and the X4s # BAK99ZR are hard roll-up truck bed covers that look similar at first glance, but the X4s is essentially an upgraded version of the X2, with a few extra touches that make it feel more refined and modern.

One of the biggest differences you’ll notice right away is the finish. The X2 has a glossy black vinyl top with exposed silver aluminum slats underneath. When it's rolled up, those silver slats show a bit, which isn’t a deal-breaker, but it gives a more traditional look. The X4s, on the other hand, is wrapped in a sleek matte black vinyl all around (even the slats underneath) so everything blends together in a super clean, stealthy way. It's great if you're going for that blacked-out, high-end look.

Now, when it comes to hardware and durability, the X4s wins again. The locking levers on the X4s are about three times thicker than what you get on the X2. That doesn’t just sound impressive, it actually gives you a sturdier, more secure feel when you're opening or closing the cover. Plus, the X4s features slightly redesigned side rails with matte black trim and corner caps, giving it a more finished and integrated look compared to the flatter, more basic rails on the X2.
