Can Straight Trailer Axle be Flipped

Question:
Can a straight over slung axle be used as underslung, since the axle is straight? I understand it would need new spring seats welded on if the axle hat camber Thanks, Scottie

If it truly was a straight axle without any bow built into it I don't see why it wouldn't work but that's pretty unusual to see so we don't have a lot of experience with axles like that.
