Highjacker Rail Installation Recommendation for a 2012 Dode Ram 1500 Quad Cab Short Box

Good Morning, I am hoping you will be able to help me. We are wanting to install the rails for a highjacker hitch in a 2012 1500 Dodge Ram Quad Cab Short Box. The rails run length wise. We have had some conflicting information on what we need. Thanks for your help....

It looks like there is at least 2 variations of the Highjacker fifth wheel hitches, ones that fit industry standard rails like we offer and some that install with rails that run front to back of the truck bed.

If you had the style of hitch that installed in industry standard rails that run from left to right you would want the install kit part # RP50142-58. This is a custom kit designed specifically for your 2012 Ram 1500 with a 6 foot bed.

Since you have the style of hitch that installs on rails that run from front to back we do not have a rail kit for your vehicle.
