Question:
I have a double axle boat trailer and would like to have a tire pressure monitoring system. I have tried two versions of external systems that did not work after getting dipped in water. Is there a waterproof version that would hold up with boat trailers getting dunked in water?

Hello Bernard,
I have the perfect option for you, the TST TPMS for RVs - Color Display - Signal Booster - 4 Flow Through Tire Sensors # TST-507-FT-4-C, or for 6 sensors #TST-507-FT-6-C.
It says "water resistant" on the product page, but that’s just because the entire system isn’t fully waterproof but the important parts are. The sensors themselves are waterproof and include 2 O-rings and 2 washers to help maintain internal waterproof integrity. The included signal booster is waterproof as well.
These sensors won’t just keep an eye on your tire pressure, they’ll also alert you if the temperature gets too high. Who doesn't like preventing a blowout? Another great feature is that you do not need to remove them to inflate or deflate your tires as well!
What kind of boat do you have? We just got our Ranger back from the shop, had to wait a whole 7 weeks for the new motor to come in. Can’t wait to get back out on the water and catch some fish!

Hey Bernard, Did the TST TPMS system work out for your boat trailer? I'm curious to know if it held up well with the water exposure, as it could really help others in similar situations.
