Question:
I have a 2014 Keystone Impact model 300 toy hauler. It came equipped with a Costar 12RV-DB C0 sensor. Mounted high on the wall propane sensor is mounted low on the kitchen wall. I need to replace Co sensor. The propane sensor tests Green. What Co sensor 3 wire would you recommend?

Hello John,
Our carbon monoxide detectors also have the propane tester and they are installed near the floor since propane gas is heavier. Even though your propane tester sensor is green, they do have any expiration date on them (I attached an image showing that there is a date) so I recommend checking that as well.
The RV Propane Gas and Carbon Monoxide Detector - 12 Volt - 2 Wire - Black # RS54FR is just a 2 wire system. All you would need to do to install is connect the Keystones positive wire to the red wire, and the Keystones negative wire to the black wire. You could mount this one in the place of your propane one to cover them both. I attached a video for you to check out as well.
What kind of toys are you hauling around on your adventures?

Hey John, How did the installation of the new carbon monoxide detector go? I'm curious if the solution worked out for you and if you managed to cover both the propane and CO detection with the new setup. Let me know how it turned out, as it could really help others in a similar situation!
