Could Hopkins Quick Lock Diodes Prevent Backfeeding

Question:
Replaced 3 incandescent light bulbs 1157 bulb in rv bathroom vanity mirror with led bulbs, now load wire on switch showing voltage 7.5v when no 12v power coming into switch. Can hopkins quick lock diode be used on single load wire to stop back feeding from led bulbs?

The Hopkins Quick-Lock Diodes for Towed Vehicles # HM56305 does only allow voltage to travel in one direction so it would work well for you as a way to prevent backfeeding.
