Recommended Cummins Onan QG 2500i Generator for a Camper

Question:
I am buying a 2005 Northern Lite 10-2 not the EX version with the generator box facing the rear. I want to purchase a CM25ZR and install myself. I owned a 2006 10-2 several years ago and installed an Onan 2500 LP in it, so I remember most of the procedure. What I need to know is what accessories does this model need to complete the install. I seem to remember that I needed a tailpipe kit and switch assembly. Could you please tell me what I actually do need for this install in the 10-2. Also, do you have a cut-out template available so I can cut the holes without a lot of measuring? Thank you.

Hey Lindall congrats on the new camper. The Cummins Onan QG 2500i Onboard RV Generator item # CM25ZR comes with all connections, wires, and fittings shown in the picture below. I do not have a database that shows me the layout or what all is included in your Northern Lite 10-2 and we do not have any of the Onan accessories at this time(7/3/25) so I can not give you a list of parts you'll need to complete your install.
Additionally, I do not have a drawing or template.

Hi Jerred. I found out from the camper manufacturer that Onan changed the size of the gen when they went to the inverter model and it won’t fit the box on the camper
