Switching from 185/80R13 to ST205/75R14 Wheels and Tires on 2024 Viking 2198ST

Question:
I’ve got a 2024 Viking 2198ST with 185/80R13’s on it. I’d like to get a larger wheel and tire. Will this work with my setup? With little/no mods. I often drive on unpaved roads, and these like to have a slightly higher speed rating. Thanks for the info.

Hey Chad! You can swap out your current wheels and tires for the Kenda Karrier KR53 ST205/75R14 # KE75EV as long as you have the clearance for it. You're going to lose approximately 1" of clearance on top and 1/2" on the inside of the tire by switching to the larger wheel/tire. You want at least 3" on top and 2" on the inside of the tire for proper clearance. Also, you need to make sure you have a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern.

Hey Chad, did you get a chance to try out the Kenda Karrier wheels and tires on your Viking? I'm curious to know how they performed on those unpaved roads since it could help others considering a similar upgrade.
