Hey Michael. I can definitely point you in the right direction. I do not have a way to tell you exactly what hub you need based on the model of trailer, since harbor freight doesn't seem to list that info online. Looking at the specifications they do list online, I can tell you the # AKIHUB-545-2-LF-1K hub you were looking at is not correct. This hub has a large face for 13"-15" wheels, and the Harbor Freight 1720 trailer is listed as having 12" wheels.

They also do not list the bearing sizing online so that is something you will need to confirm. The best way to do this is to remove a hub and inspect the bearings. There should be a number stamped on the edge of each bearing, or your can measure the ID with a micrometer. Also check the hub bolt pattern. There might be a number cast on the back of the hub and sometimes we can use that to look up your bearings.

What you will likely need is something like the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # 34822545BX. This is for a 2,000 lb axle. It uses the # L44643 (1" inner diameter) inner and outer bearing. The bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2.

If this does not match what you have, reply and let me know. I will make sure you get the right thing.

I am running your Kendra Karrier ST175/80R13 on my the harbor freight 1720 trailer hub. It uses 30205 Bearing set. 30x52x10 mm seal . 25 mm (0.984") axle Trailer Wheel bearing. Anything close to that?

@MichaelF Gotcha so the 30205 bearing measures just under 1 inch (0.985) and we are not going to have a hub that accepts a bearing with an inner diameter of that size. This is common of Haul Master trailers but it is not a standard size we carry. You can either source replacement parts from Harbor freight, or replace your axle with something more standard.

@MichaelF when it comes to bearings, yes. They are sized down to the hundredth of an inch so they need to be an exact match or you could damage your trailer.
