Question:
Can the, W217602550 Firestone Ride Rite Air Bags - Suspension Kit - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle 2550 Item F2550 Bend the axle because the weight on the bags are more towards the center of the differential on the axle tube?

Hey Devin, while the Firestone Ride Rite kit part # F2550 does provide a lot of suspension support it would not be hard or strong enough to bend your axle. It would pop long before enough force would be applied to it that would allow the axle to bend. Which if you found yourself in that situation you probably have bigger problems. Have you bent an axle before?

I have not but like I said, these bags are located inside the frame rail and apply pressure more towards the center of the differential where there's no support. I was just curious if anyone has had an issue when they load up the truck and throw max pressure in the bags.
