Question:
Hi, I need a long shank ball mount for a 2 ball, with a 2 , like this one: https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Hitch-Ball-Mount/CURT/D-26.html However, I dont have the tools/ability to properly torque a ball to that. I see you sell ball mounts that come with a pre-torqued ball, but nothing that fits my need. If I buy the ball and the mount and am willing to pay for the additional service is that something you do? If not, how do I go about getting this done properly? Im kind of at a loss here.

Hello Dave,
I really wish we could torque the ball down for you, but we do not offer that kind of service.
We have a dealer locator of Dealers we have all over the US, I attached a link so you can see who is in your area. Give them a call and tell them that etrailer told you to call to see if they can torque a hitch ball down for you, they might charge you to do it, but I would imagine it wouldn't be much.
The Ball Mount 3/4" Rise or 2" Drop - 12-5/8" Long # D-26 is a solid choice for a ball mount, for a 2" ball you will want # C40020.
Please let me know which one of our dealers came through for you. What are you looking to tow?

Hi, that A-90 says it is 1 1/4" diameter and the D-26 shank I want takes a 1" diameter ball. That doesn't sound like they're compatible? Or am I missing something?
