Looking For Replacement 1/2" - 13 Grade 5 Bolt For Reese RP58393 Pole Tongue Adapter
Updated 09/03/2025 | Published 06/20/2025 >
Question:
Hi. A few years back I bought your Reese Pole-Tongue Adapter for Weight Distribution Systems - 14,000 lbs GTW, 1,400 lbs TW Part Number: RP58393. One of the 4 inch long 3/4 inch bolts snapped and I’m looking for a replacement for that and the corresponding nut. Bolt head says THE F593C. I see an Equalizer Suspension bolt 4 1/2 in long with 3/4 diameter but aren’t sure it would work. The extra half inch of threads is likely fine but is the steel the right kind? Are there other options. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

Hello Toni, thanks for reaching out. It sounds like you are looking for one of the 1/2" - 13 grade 5 bolts that comes with the # RP58393 pole tongue adapter. I am sorry to say we do not offer this bolt by itself. You might be able to get one directly from Reese, otherwise your best bet would be to check your local hardware store and see if you can find a match. As long as the bolt is 1/2" - 13 grade 5 and it is long enough it will work fine as a replacement.
