Hello, I have a 2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD extended cab short bed and need conformation that this kit has everything needed to do a complete set up for my truck. I have never had a fifth wheel hitch in this vehicle and need everything. This is also time sensitive and delays would be a problem so in stock and ready to ship is imperative. If time is an issue with this model I will just get another model that will ship sooner. Thanks for the help.

Hey Derek. The B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider for Chevy/GMC item # BW72QR includes everything you need to add a sliding 5th wheel hitch to your 2006 Sierra 2500HD. The custom fit industry standard 5th wheel rails fit both the 6-1/2' and 8' bed models of the 2500HD. They attach to pre-existing holes in your truck's frame.
The B&W Patriot Slider included with item # BW72QR has a 18,000 lbs capacity and will give you 12" of travel when making tight turns.
To make towing with a 5th wheel easier, I recommend adding the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness item # C56070. This harness puts a 7-way connector in the bed of your truck and allows you to keep the one on your bumper. This makes hooking up to your 5th wheel trailer easier and more convenient.
