Replacement Door Latch for 1996 Jayco 1006 Camper

Question:

Good afternoon, I have a 1996 Jayco 1006 popup camper. The door lock assembly broke last year and needs to be replaced. Do you have something that I can use to replace it? It seems like those arent available anymore. Thanks!

Hi Jim; we don't have that style but you may be able to use another door latch to replace it. What you will need to do is measure the cutout and based on the age/camper style I would also measure to see how thick the door is. For example, if you have a cutout that is 2-1/2" wide x 3-1/2" tall to 3" wide x 4" tall and 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" thick you can use the # 295-000019.

If your cutout is smaller you can enlarge it to match. A larger cutout is doable but it is definitely harder to add in extra material vs removing it. If you can let me know your cutout dimensions below I'll see what is available.
