What Does "Er" Error Code Mean For Tekonsha Primus IQ Brake Controller?

Question:
Hi I bought a tekonsha Primus IQ april 2024. Sunday june 8th, it appeared en error code. Er. Can it be rapaired ? Is it dangerous to drive with it ? I have camping next week. Is it under warranty ? Thanks.

Hello Adam, thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear that happened because the "ER" error means there is an internal issue with the controller and it needs to be replaced. It has a lifetime warranty.
